Each of the Odyssey® mattresses is designed with an advanced center layer. Five different zones of anatomically designed dye cuts help minimize pressure and skin shear from head to foot. On the Elite model, a super-conforming layer of Visco-Elastic foam cradles the fragile bony prominences of heels and ankles. With Elite, Zero-G, High-Res, and Extended Care Mattresses, smaller cuts in the trunk help lower shearing forces while providing skeletal support.

The advanced design helps the Odyssey® line promote good posture while relieving pressure and providing comfort. The entire Odyssey® line features inverted side seam seals top and bottom to provide superior protection against fluid penetration. Brass vents allow the mattress to breathe.
